Role Description
As a Senior Finance Manager focused on Sales, you will help develop and drive our GTM strategy in partnership with the Chief Customer Officer (GCO) and the GCO leadership team. You will play a crucial role in areas such as ARR (Annual Recurring Revenue) forecasting and planning, measuring the success of strategic initiatives, driving analytical insights, deal structuring and approvals, and evaluating resource investments. Your work will play a crucial part in ensuring Dropbox makes sound financial and strategic decisions that drive sustainable business growth. You'll get senior leadership exposure, focusing real-time on the highest priority business issues, and being plugged into every facet of our business.
Responsibilities
Partner with the GCO leadership team and serve as a thought leader in shaping the financial framework for our Sales, Channel and Customer Success teams.Drive financial planning, forecasting, and reporting activities for Sales and Channel Teams, set financial goals, and provide regular executive-level reporting to track progress against strategic initiativesConduct advanced analytics, delivering impactful and actionable insights that drive decision-makingEngage with global sales teams and deal desk on deal structuring and approvalsDrive ARR Planning for sales, including sales capacity planning, driver-based ARR modeling, and short-range and long range plansDevelop monthly spend forecast and drive budget planning processDrive standardized Reporting, Forecasting, Budgeting, and Budget vs Actual (BvA) processes and narrativesCollaborate with business partners in Sales, Sales Strategy, Business Strategy, and Finance on ad-hoc projects and financial modelingDevelop new processes and tools to drive scalable analysis and insights
Requirements
10+ years of relevant FP&A experience in a fast-growing tech environment preferred. Sales Finance experience a must, preferably in the technology space.Prior experience building and analyzing the revenue forecast for Sales functionsDeep B2B SaaS experience requiredKnowledge of Salesforce and Oracle systemsExcellence in financial modeling and analytics. Advanced Excel skills essentialStrong quantitative, organizational and communications skills
Total Rewards
Dropbox takes a number of factors into account when determining individual starting pay, including job and level they are hired into, location/metropolitan area, skillset, and peer compensation. We target most new hire offers between the minimum up to the middle of the range.
Salary/OTE is just one component of Dropbox's total rewards package. All regular employees are also eligible for the corporate bonus program or a sales incentive (target included in OTE) as well as stock in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
Current Salary/OTE Ranges (Subject to change):
• US Zone 1: $189,600 - $223,000 - $256,500.
• US Zone 2: $170,600 - $200,700 - $230,800.
• US Zone 3: $151,600 - $178,400 - $205,200.
Dropbox uses the zip code of an employee's remote work location to determine which metropolitan pay range we use. Current US Zone locations are as follows:
• US Zone 1: San Francisco metro, New York City metro, or Seattle metro
• US Zone 2: Austin (TX) metro, Chicago metro, California (outside SF metro), Colorado, Connecticut (outside NYC metro), Delaware, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York (outside NYC metro), Oregon, Pennsylvania (outside NYC or DC metro), Washington (outside Seattle metro) and Washington DC metro
• US Zone 3: All other US locations
