The area
Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Tower is part of Global Business Operations and provides oversight on financial activities and controls including general accounting, management and external reporting and financial planning and analysis. The tower is responsible for the interpretation of financial and statutory data, the coordination and management of financial and statutory reporting, the management of the P&L and balance sheet delivering solutions that will increase insight and transparency.
The role
Ensure management and execution of the Performance management agenda through development of a robust annual plan, reinforced by a monthly rhythm of processes and analysis to deliver timely information and insight, forecasting and to enable the organization to make high quality decisions which drive peer group leading performanceDrive the monthly BPM cycle and Landing and O&R reviewsResponsible for the management of cash flow and extended working capital requirements, processesWork with business partners and collaborators to deliver the planning process in line with standards and timelines.As part of Business Unit Leadership team,, actively identifies interventions required to keep performance on track, and ensure that the process supporting the BPM cycle is robust and delivers the right information each month in a timely and fit for purpose mannerContinually strive for best practice and develop a culture for innovation and continuous improvement in service of continued efficiency and effectivenessShape decision making process across the business and long-term strategy conversationBuild and maintain value driving relationships across the organisation that support business performance and integrate reporting across all business functionsAgree with Global Brand Teams on brand targets - within market target setting for countries, channels, brands
The Head of FP&A is a member of the senior Leadership Team of with dedicated responsibilities around organizational efficiency and transformation agenda, capability building and people development.
About you
Degree educated in relevant finance / accounting/ business.10-12+ years’ experience is management or Financial Performance & Analysis, and/or Financial PlanningExperience in a global FMCG or similar dynamic operating environmentProficient English knowledgeCommercial Acumen: Understand the whole business operation in detail and can see connections across departments to see the big picture. Aware of competitors for existing core business. Recognizes key trends and industry characteristics.Influencing skills: Form relationships with teams across business divisions and markets.Effective Communication skills: Construct short story lines, adapt documents and presentations for the intended audience (complexity, detail, altitude). Presents material in a clear confident manner & leads non-verbal communication, in service to message.
