The Head, Fabry and MPS1 Marketing will be responsible for developing, aligning and overall execution of the strategic business plan for the identification, diagnosis and optimal treatment of people living with Fabry and MPS1 diseases in the U.S. This individual will lead a team of 5 professionals and will manage U.S. Brand Strategy and Tactics for the Fabrazyme, Aldurazyme and Venglustat for Fabry anticipated to launch in Q1 2026. This professional will lead a cross functional team composed of, but not limited to Business Operations, Patient Support Services, Market Access, Medical, Patient Advocacy, Market Research, Forecasting, Analytics, Digital, Commercial Operations, Legal, Regulatory and HR to achieve objectives.
The Rare Disease Nation has established a highly focused team. We have created a dedicated marketing and sales team to advance the Fabry and MPS1 franchise, in addition to an in-house PSS team and partners. The Head Fabry and MPS1 will work closely with the cross functional team to advance our Play to Win mentality. This role will also work closely to ensure Global alignment, which is critical to our success.
This role has high visibility for building our business today, and further executing an anticipated Venglustat launch. Across the Rare Disease Nation, we have launches over the next 5 years and this senior role will be expected to add insights across all launches; one team, common goals, single mission. The Head Fabry and MPS1 will report to the General Manager, Rare Disease and expected to have a visible and vocal role as a member of the Rare Disease Nation USLT.

Responsible for achieving and exceeding forecast and working within OPEX boundaries.Demonstrate a comprehensive and proficient understanding of rare disease, current market dynamics and play a key role in facilitating learning/education.Build productive and open relationships with KOLs, patient organizations and payers identifying customer needs and solutions.Create, communicate & execute competitive and integrated US marketing plans enhancing patient diagnoses, treatment, access, and adherence to treatment.Ultimately responsible and accountable for agency and external partner relationship.

Have a thorough understanding of the U.S. healthcare environment and reimbursement issues related to orphan drugs.Develop and manage yearly and quarterly investments. Make forward thinking investment decisions.Oversee product and manufacturing demand forecasts.Analyze qualitative and quantitative market data to generate a deeper understanding of the customer's needs, brand, and disease issues.Experience and success in using analytics to find patients first is desirable.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in life sciences.7+ years experience in commercial and strategy development in the biotechnology, and /or pharmaceutical industries.Proven capabilities of leading and managing a team.Experience and success in competitive market.Leadership aptitude and attitude.Culture awareness, self-awareness, and environmental awareness.Be open to innovative and forward-thinking ideas.Ability to articulate and convey complex data and information concisely and simply.Ability to travel ~30%.
