Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
6 years of experience working in a consumer devices technical environment or 5 years of experience with an advanced degree.
3 years of experience in a technical leadership role as a people manager.
Experience working with imaging systems (cameras or displays).
Preferred qualifications:
Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
Experience in shipping hardware products in consumer electronics or a similar industry (e.g., medical devices, automotive, aerospace).
Experience with automation tools for validation testing.
As a Hardware Systems Validation Manager, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing all aspects of hardware systems validation, ensuring that products meet quality, performance, and regulatory requirements. You will develop and execute validation strategies, manage validation teams, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $166,000-$254,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Develop and implement comprehensive validation plans and strategies for hardware systems.
Lead and manage a team of validation and test engineers and provide technical guidance and mentoring.
Develop validation documentation including test plans, reports and risk assessments, and execute test cases and scenarios to validate hardware functionality, performance, and reliability.
Track and report validation progress and metrics. Analyze test results and identify potential design issues or defects.
Collaborate with Design, Verification, Manufacturing, and other Engineering teams to ensure product quality and compliance.
