Job Description:
This role is responsible for moderately complex transaction processing, reconciliation, and resolution of research requests supporting the wealth management business. These transactions and requests may carry high levels of monetary risk. Additional responsibilities include providing quality service and effective and efficient operations support for internal business partners and/or external clients. Individuals should be well versed in operational processes, and assist in training for less experienced team members.
Responsibilities:
• Performs moderately complex transaction processing and reconciliation with medium to large monetary impact according to the established guidelines and procedures
• Responds to moderately complex client inquiries through numerous channels to support operational efficiency and quality client service

The GWIM Senior Operations Analyst role within the Asset Transition Services (ATS) Branch Processing team is responsible for managing the timely and seamless movement of assets between Merrill and other outside brokerage firms. ATS supports both domestic and offshore transfers, providing daily updates to the field. The position supports various asset types including equities, fixed income products, options, mutual funds, annuities, and alternative investments. It is essential that associates in this position ensure that branch office and client satisfaction is maintained. Additionally, this role has relationship management responsibility for partnership with Service Network (Client Care), Venture Services Group, Settlements, and various other operational areas within Wealth Management Operations (WMO). Other responsibilities include:
Ensure transfer requests are initiated accurately and in accordance with NSCC and FINRA rules and regulationsEscalate potential events that may impact the transfer flowProactively identify and communicate continuous improvement opportunities to the management teamDocument and maintain procedures
