Job Description:
This role is responsible for providing subject matter expertise across a wealth management operations team, and supporting the manager in all aspects of day-to-day management of the team's operations. Key responsibilities include employee training and coaching, addressing employee inquiries/escalations/ approvals, and team supervision to ensure processes are executed correctly. The team lead should escalate issues to the team manager when necessary. Individuals should have deep knowledge of all key functions supported.
Responsibilities:
Coordinates and manages team workflow across various systems to ensure daily processes are completed accurately and deliverables are metProvides day-to-day training and coaching to team members while addressing employee inquiries and escalationsMonitors team service levels, volume and performance metric reporting, escalating concerns where appropriateResearches complex operational and client requests, issues and escalations to identify root cause and assist with remediation efforts and solutionsIdentifies and recommends opportunities for process improvement and risk mitigation to senior managementSupports risk management and audit processes, including identification of issues, development of mitigation strategies and exam preparation

This is an individual contributor that provides day-to-day supervision for a small unit or work team in an operations function in a specific product or service area. The Team Lead will provide support with escalated requests, supervisor approvals, and in line controls of the functions supported. Exercise the ability to act as a Subject Matter Expert and may be responsible for keeping line of business procedures up to date and accurate, in line with all policies, laws, rules, and regulations. Able to identify and recommend process improvement opportunities, provide coaching and development to production agents in support of continuous improvement.
