A Dining Room Coordinator (“DRC” or “Coordinator”) is the first person a guest meets when they enter a Texas Roadhouse. They are the face of the store. A DRC must be able to perform a variety of tasks, including opening our doors, greeting and/or thanking guests, taking guests’ names, coordinating the board (running the wait, planning table placement, paging guests), answering phones, collaborating on wait times, handling call-ahead, managing large parties, and coordinating the dining room.

Ensures that each guest receives a legendary welcome and good-bye when dining at Texas Roadhouse.
Uses the AGM system effectively.
Takes Guest party information and is aware of table availability at all times
Communicates any issues with guests to Leader at the Door or Manager on duty.
Directs guests to waiting area or Bar.
Inform all walk-in guests about call-ahead seating.
Constantly communicates with Leader at the Door.
Ensures all guests are comfortable and cared for.
Effectively maintains wait and quote times during each shift.
Maintains a clean and well stocked restroom during each shift.
Answers all phones calls and call ahead seating requests.
Effectively communicates with GSAs to ensure speedy table turns.
Adheres to core values: passion, partnership, integrity and fun, all with purpose.
Practices safety and sanitation at all times.
Completes proper opening and closing duties as determined by the Manager, which may include: setting up host stand, turning on music, cleaning windows and meat case, unlocking doors, sweeping floor, cleaning out ashtray(s), and laying out all floor mats.
May be responsible for recording all transactions related to the DRC position on the POS; this includes but is not limited to gift card sales and providing change for guests.
Maintains proper etiquette with all staff members and guests.
Exhibits teamwork at all times.
Participates in contests and line dancing during each shift.
Maintains proper dress code and hygiene standards at all times.
