How will you make an impact in this role?
As a member of the Digital Transformation team within Global Treasury Controllership (GTC), this is a Product Owner position responsible for managing various aspects of Treasury Management System (TMS) which is the system of record for AXP’s financial operations annually across Cash, FX, Derivatives, Investments and Debt portfolios besides core accounting and reporting capability. This role will be focused on envisioning and executing the strategic vision of TMS in PO and PMO capacity in developing product capability, managing ongoing stability while ensuring that compliance, audits, and legal requirements are adhered to. The role also includes managing critical regulatory requirements from the platform as well as actively engaging and managing the relationship with the vendor providers of the platform.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with cross-functional partners across Treasury, Treasury Controllership and AET to capture requirements that are foundational to products capability and future vision.
Establish and execute the strategic roadmap of TMS and execute initiatives against roadmap.
Lead, communicate and influence internal & external vendor partners for critical prioritization, solutioning and strategic decisions related to the product.
Project/program management and execution for critical projects impacting TMS (internal and vendor driven).
Manage project deliverables including Strategy/PI session planning, project plan, project updates, production deployment schedule, risk identification and escalation.
Develop communications to senior leaders on project status (Steerco/Sponsor updates)
Extensive partnership with AET, GTC, Treasury and outside vendor to support escalation and resolution of production issues.
Represent GTC and lead in production support and governance calls.
Manage analytics to identify issue trends and opportunities for improvement.

Qualifications
Prior experience in Finance function is preferred.
Hand on experience in project/program management and Product Ownership role is highly preferred.
Bachelor’s Degree minimum, MBA or CPA is a plus.

Salary Range: $80,000.00 to $155,000.00 annually bonus benefits
