The Challenge
We're looking for an exceptional leader to help define the go-to-market, marketing and product strategies to accelerate our already meaningful Photoshop business. We have an opportunity to massively grow the number of professionals and enthusiasts who use our digital imaging solutions to bring their creative vision to life. You will manage a team of product marketers to define our 1- to 3-year business strategy, identify new product and audience opportunities, develop annual GTM and marketing plans, and work cross-functionally to drive growth for the business. Join a team of product marketers and GTM strategists who work with senior product, marketing, finance, and sales leaders to deliver greater customer value, strengthen the creative community, unlock new markets and audiences, and accelerate profitable growth.
What You'll Do
Define a clear vision for the Photoshop business and the GTM strategy required to win. This includes: Total addressable market, market share, competitive assessment; value proposition, messaging, and positioning; Target audience definition, priorities, and customer needs; Business model and monetization strategy
Lead the annual strategy planning process and delivery of the 3-year growth strategy and business plan; define success metrics, track performance, own the numbers/annual business outcome
Partner closely with product management to define the optimal product strategy; collaborate with partners in Product, Engineering, Design and Marketing to deliver truly amazing customer experiences
Directly manage a team of product marketers
Desired Skills and Experience
Product marketing experience. You have a distinctive track record of impact in marketing and strategy decisions based on your recommendations. You can anticipate market needs and trends, how they manifest in product needs, and predict go to market challenges that influence the product direction.
Strategic clarity. You have a strong and data-driven point of view on the market opportunity and how to best win new Adobe customers.
Results oriented and data driven. Demonstrates outstanding analytical abilities to identify, analyze, and use data to advise a recommendation. Partners with market researchers, product managers, and sales leaders to seek out data to validate ideas and demonstrates the courage to challenge our plan based on new information.
People leadership. You're a respected leader who makes the time to coach and mentor your peers and lift the performance of the team. You build positive relationships and can influence across the organization
What You'll Need to Succeed
10+ years of product and/or marketing experience in a consumer or commercial technology (internet, SaaS, hardware), consumer packaged goods, or professional services business
3+ years of people management experience.
Product launch, go to market, and category management experience (B2C preferred).
Management consulting experience preferred.
Passion for creativity and empowering the creator in all of us.
Executive presence and excellent communication skills
Positive relationship building and influence skills across functions
Capability to identify problems without precedent and bias for action to address them.
BA/BS degree preferred OR equivalent years of experience
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $116,400 -- $257,000 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.
At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
