As a member of the Continuous Delivery and Automation team, you'll partner with graphics engineering, infrastructure, and data center teams to improve cutting edge discrete graphics products and deliver on time to market, impacting the day-to-day lives of nearly 2,000 Engineers.
Our dGfx validation data center in Hillsboro, OR is home to a futuristic roadmap of server dGfx systems intended to validate and harden the IP for launch. The ideal Candidate must have the skill and interest to excel in a technical lab environment learning new technology, processes, software, hardware, and maintenance methodologies supporting a global infrastructure built on Linux, hardening a complex set of software and hardware to ensure a successful product launch.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related STEM degree and 1+ years of experience in three or more of the following:
• Object-oriented, test-driven programming practices
• Developing software for Linux hosting environment, leveraging open-source technologies and languages
• Server hardware deployment, maintenance, upgrades
• Linux OS development and deployment
• On-site, data center/lab environment
Preferred Qualifications:
• Python
• High volume test automation, OS imaging, machine recovery, pre-production hardware
• Hardware schematics and soldering
• Network configuration and troubleshooting
