Post-Si Design-for-Debug tools team within CGAI-XPE organization is seeking experienced candidate for the architecture, development and validation of next generation discrete graphics debug tools and methodologies.
As a GPU Debug Architect, your responsible would include but not limited to:
Lead one or more debug enabling solution/tools for successful delivery towards PRQ and sustenance post-PRQ.
Drive end to end debug enabling strategy for discrete graphics products.
Work in collaboration with SoC and graphics software engineering teams in left-shifting the tools enabling in emulation/simulation environments for having the tools ready on day one of the power-ons.
Collaborate with DFX architecture teams w.r.t new and delta DFD feature impact on debug tools and working with them to define solutions
Drive detailed technical readiness for all debug enabling solutions for the graphics products, identifying gaps/risks and work with stakeholders to resolve them.
Drive continuous improvement across development, validation, and customer support for all debug solutions of the graphics products
Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Electronics/Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related STEM field with overall 9+ years of industry experience or
Master's Degree in Electronics/Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related STEM field with 6+ years of industry experience.
5+ years of experience in the 3 or more of the following:
Computer Architecture Knowledge and Microarchitecture Fundamentals
Reset Flows for Silicon Validation
Architecture/Feature Definition
Post-silicon Validation and Debugging
Test Planning/Technical Documentation
Strong programming experience with C++ and Python.
Preferred skills and experience that will make you stand out.
GPU Architecture Fundamentals, Validation and Debug
System Verilog, IP Validation tools and methodologies
Validation Protocols and Strategy Development
Design for Debug with a strong understanding of IEEE1149.1/1687 standards.
Emulation Fundamentals
Experience and hands on skills with LTB, ITP, Logic Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, Scan dumps, and in-circuit Emulators

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado, New York, Washington, California: $162,041.00-$259,425.00
*Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience
Working Model
This role is available as a fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need. This role may also be available as our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
