Position Details:
Using a Consultative approach, maximizes and grows sales for designated account package by implementing Grainger's Core Value Proposition and building long lasting partnerships with government customers. Use internal and external resources to increase sales and achieve sales goals. Maintain a high level of service with all customers and take entire responsibility of each account relationship and results.
You Will:
Reporting to the Government District Sales Manager, you will develop, expand, and call on contacts at all levels within the customer organizations, selling our value proposition, services, and products.
Plan and organize to visits customers daily. Invests ~80% of the time in the field visiting customers and ~20% dedicated to administrative related work.
Take pride in meeting or exceeding quota and assume accountability for monthly sales and margin goal attainment.
Accomplish sustained profitable growth by Identifying and classifying existing account potential and opportunities, establishing call priorities and frequencies and developing and implementing account penetration plans and strategies (Pipeline Report, Strategic Selling Plan).
Use activity tracking system to monitor progress. (CRM, Customer Action plan, Monthly Calendar).
Identify, engage, manage, and use resources (internal and external), to win and maximize opportunities, guarantee customer satisfaction, and overcome barriers.
Use Sales Process to gain customers trust, uncover and close opportunities, manage customers objections, and grow sales in each account.
You Have:
3 + years successful sales experience preferably outside sales in the MRO Market with Government sales experience.
College degree or equivalent experience.
Fluent bi-lingual, verbal and written (English/Spanish).
Self-motivated, possessing and a desire to win.
Willing to change behavior if success is not achieved.
Success identifying and understanding customer needs and concerns to help them get their jobs done and win their turst and business.
Excellent facilitation and negotiation skills to influence customer decisions along with a broad span of internal and external partners.
