The primary responsibilities of the Government Account Manager is to provide superior customer relations with national account customers. Maintain day to day customer contact with customer corporate appointed contact. Overall customer service in responding and meeting customer issues, resolving complaints, maintaining system files, relationship building. Has thorough working knowledge of internal systems, analysis, research and contract compliance. Ability to extract and manipulate data from multiple system platforms, excellent analytical background including proven examples of process improvements. Experience using Smartsheet is a MUST. Primarily Remote and MUST be located in the DFW area. Qualifications:

Responsibilities
Champions new initiatives and acts as a catalyst for change.
Ensures that departmental objectives are consistent with the company's overall objectives and ensures all objectives are clearly linked to employee performance plans.
Understands external and internal customer needs and how business processes effect customers.
Ensures business measures are in place that will reflect customer's viewpoints and deliver the highest level of quality and responsiveness.
Understands the business processes to enable management of bottom line results.
Development and implementation of process improvements that achieves business goals and meets employee and customer satisfaction.
Develops business cases to support new investments, sets aggressive goals and develops plans to achieve goals and takes full ownership of those goals.
First contact with customer (including but not limited to DC's, AR and Customer Support) on issues or problems. Must leave the customer satisfied that the problem/issue is being addressed. How the customer is handled may indicate the customer's perception of the company.
Independently build and nurture customer relationships.
Contributes to development of new agreement implementation plans.
Identifies and develops processes that integrates solutions that removes business inefficiencies and increases bottom lines.
Responsible for establishing measurements and enforcing processes for quality assurance
