Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:
Contributes to positive team experience
Sort donated electronic items into categories for sale and recycling
Disassemble, test, & repair electronic items
Prepare/package items for resale
Wipe personal data from electronic devices and computers
Rebuild, refurbish computers
Provide customer service through email and phone conversations
General housekeeping and department appearance
Minimum Qualifications:
Ability to display a positive, friendly attitude in order to maintain a positive work environment
Computer, math, and literacy skills to support job duties
Knowledge of online marketplace
Ability to identify, test, and replace electronic components
Criminal background check that meets Agency standards
Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs which includes evenings, weekends, and holidays
High school diploma, GED, HiSET, or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications:
A+ certification or equivalent experience to include strong hardware troubleshooting and OS deployment skills
