GM Energy products and solutions include energy infrastructure assets (such as energy storage and integrated charging systems) vehicle to grid capabilities and software platforms needed to operate and aggregate these assets on the grid.

  Through our GM Energy Home offerings, residential customers will be able to take advantage of a combination of GM Energy backup power storage, solar technology, and other products - all of which can be managed seamlessly through the new GM Energy Cloud.

  With GM Energy's residential offerings, EVs can be leveraged to help mitigate power outages for customers. This team envisions a world with no grid outages, fully renewable energy, and decentralized energy resources. GM's resources, reach, and all-EV future can deliver that future. This disruption is backed by the bold GM vision of zero crashes, zero emissions and zero congestion.

  Summary of Responsibilities

  Reporting to the Associate Director, GM Energy-Sales Strategy & eCommerce, this role will be owning the reporting and dashboards for GM Energy Sales. This person will collaborate with the analytics team, product managers, IT and many other teams among GM Energy.

  Analyst Support

  Responsible for the entirety of dashboard projects - hosting kick-off meetings, gathering requirements, development of dashboard, reviews with stakeholders, execution, adhering to timeline and communicating updates to stakeholders Responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of analytical reports Partner with stakeholders to gather and document requirements Performs ongoing monitoring and refinement of reports Identify and troubleshoot data discrepancies to ensure data integrity and quality Become the subject matter expert in data availability and data architecture Subject matter experience in data visualization tools like PowerBi Leverage SQL to manipulate, prepare and query data Act as the spokesperson for the role - attend meetings, interact daily with stakeholders provide ongoing updates Provide regular cadence of clear updates to leadership, to ensure awareness of progress including flagging areas issues and risks.   5+ years of experience with data visualization and business intelligence tools 3+ years of experience with PowerBi Paragon of GM cultural behaviors Key traits: curiosity, insight, determination, engagement Key competencies results orientation strategic orientation customer focus collaboration & influencing quality orientation critical thinking

  Required Skills / Experience / Education

  Bachelor's degree in a relevant business, supply chain, or purchasing field required Embrace data driven & customer insights to inform plans, launches, and iterations Experience in creating customer flow journeys and experiences is a plus Strong organizational skills with proven track record of efficiently executing complex projects to completion at a high level of quality Demonstrated high level of interpersonal skills required to effectively collaborate, motivate, and facilitate others in group situations Desire to work in a complex and evolving environment and to bring an innovation mindset. Comfort working in a fast-paced start-up technology environment is essential. Highly proficient in oral and written communication skills Strong computer software skills, especially Microsoft Office, including familiarity with MS Project, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.

  Hybrid - Position does not require an employee to be on-site full-time, but the general expectation is that the employee be onsite an average of three (3) days each week.
