LinkedIn is seeking a Quality and Training Manager that will develop, implement and report on quality metrics, identify improvements, and manage a training program for the Global Strategic Sourcing organization. The hired individual will be responsible for collecting and reporting on data from various tools and sources to create a quality review snapshot, as well as identify trends to highlight successes and opportunities for improvement across the organization. In parallel and using the quality data, as well feedback from the Leadership Team on trainings needs, this role will plan, develop and deliver engaging training. This role will work closely with the internal Category and Sourcing Operations Teams, and partner with Source to Pay teams such as Legal, Procurement, and Information Security to develop impactful and content rich training materials.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Global Strategic Sourcing Leadership Team to develop a quality control program
Establish and report metrics to determine quality of sourcing activities, contracting, adherence to global processes, compliance to purchasing related policies, and accurate use of tools and systems as documented
Utilize quality metrics, highlight successes, opportunities, and trends to determine the current state of quality across the Global Strategic Sourcing Teams and to build a training pipeline
Plan, design, develop, execute and evolve Global Strategic Sourcing’s training program
Create and iterate on our team’s new employee onboarding program and train all new employees
Ensure training is effective and changes are properly communicated per the Global Strategic Sourcing change management process.
Create and maintain training material to ensure it is up to date and sunset material that is no longer relevant
Develop and disseminate required communication materials to ensure key business stakeholders understand Global Strategic Sourcing quality reporting and training plans
Partner with Source to Pay Teams on training material development and ensure material aligns with currently documented processes and policies
Manage multiple tasks, projects and timelines with a sense of urgency, ownership and within deadline
Execute ad-hoc projects related to transformation activities
Identify new tools, automation and ways to streamline processes, as needed
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
4+ years of project/program management experience
Experience with delivering innovative training courses and creative content through different ways of learning and a variety of delivery methods to engage a virtual, global team.
Experience with the source-to-pay process, category management/supplier relationship management processes, tools and techniques
Preferred Qualifications:
MBA or advanced degree a plus
Demonstrated ability to effectively create and implement training plans and materials
Demonstrated experience in quality management and experience with successfully improving quality performance
Ability to work in a fast past environment with a high rate of change
Experience with reporting and data analysis (i.e. Excel, Pivot Tables, PowerBI)
Previous experience with metric identification, reporting and storytelling utilizing data
Experience with designing and building SharePoint sites to ensure training material
Previous Learning and Development experience
Demonstrated ability to manage and maintain project timelines
Motivating team members to learn training information, while identifying gaps in learning across the team and a plan to address it.
Demonstrable and effective quality and change management skills
Communicates in a clear, concise and timely manner and operates effectively as a team player
Resourceful with a strong work ethic and are willing to go the extra mile to get work done
Progressive yet practical approach to Global Strategic Sourcing, focused on unlocking value and improving service
Collaborative expertise in process and continuous improvement expert
Personable and credible - ability to build productive working relationships both internally with our business partners, and externally with our suppliers across teams globally

The pay range for this role is $98,000 to $160,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
