The Trade, Transport & Logistics (TT&L) Global Reporting and Analytics team is part of the central functions of TT&L in Hitachi Energy.
The T&L Global Sourcing Data Analysis Specialist is responsible to cleanse and consolidate shipment data for global and regional general cargo RFQs and conduct analysis of the suppliers feedback to display the outcome for the decision-making process. Furthermore, he/she maintains the supplier data base, including supplier status and tariffs in internal repositories. Furthermore, gathers and delivers data for the internal system updates.
By being the subject expert, the analysist will also be point of contact for internal stakeholders and external suppliers in regard to the data related topics.
Your responsibilities :
Strategic Sourcing:
Shipment data collection, cleansing and consolidation for scheduled global and regional general cargo RFQs processes (all transport modes: air, ocean, rail, road & parcel)Conduct initial and final RFQ analysis and consolidate outcome/results in agreed templatesEnter and maintain supplier and pricing data in internal repositories and update internal sources like Keelvar with respective informationSupport the strategic negotiation for general cargo by gathering suppliers and pricing data into comparable scenario's for the decision makers and stakeholders to review during sourcing activitiesUse the data assessments to review with category managers and create or adjust those same scenario'sMonitor carrier nomination compliance, quality, identify gaps and respective actions
Supplier Base Management:
Supplier's Master Data Management in S4H - ensure availability of the Business Partner in SAP based on the RFQ nomination resultsControl completeness & correctness of the Supplier's master data in S4HIn cooperation with data specialists from our suppliers continuously improve and develop the data providedEnsure internal availability of up to date information on Supplier qualification, risk status and performance
Requirements:
At least 3 years of working experience as data analyst in international transportation, supply chain, logistics management or equivalent.Experience in supporting global and local sourcing activitiesMust be able to work in remote and comfortable in global multi cultural teamAdvanced desktop computer skills including PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel, SharePoint, Teams and Outlook requiredExperience with tools like PowerBI, Keelvar, Xeneta is a plusExperience with S4H system (SAP TM knowledge is a plus)Excellent problem solving and analytical skillsAdvanced presentation skills (data story telling)Drive to find and design solutions to combine complex data sources with internal stakeholders and external suppliersCapable of managing and prioritizing multiple time-sensitive tasks in a dynamic environment.Ability to work independently with a sense of urgencyStrong team playerStrong written and verbal communications skills required to manage a multitude of internal and external customers and partnersFluent in English, other languages are a plusProactively seek out projects and initiatives around data and dashboards to drive continuous improvement
