The Global Security Systems Administrator will be responsible for managing security systems and applications such as but not limited to: access control, mass communication, incident reporting and other key security systems and applications. This position will support and provide training to users that utilize GS systems and applications. Provide day to day oversite and support of the access control program and compliance with Corporate and regulatory policies or requirements. In addition, the Global Security Systems Administrator will partner and support stakeholders with ongoing security systems projects and initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Provide customer service and training efforts for system users.
Support system configurations and permissions.
Provide routine communication and/or documentation to system users and stakeholders. Share best practices and assist in driving adoption and usage,
Support system/application data requirements such as: data entry, testing data audits, data feed activity and reporting.
Administration and management of the card access request portal – processing system requests for badge access or removal, AbbVie Access Control mailbox and Access Control Hotline – answering phone calls and following up with voicemails, processing email requests /inquiries; appropriate filing of requests for future retrieval. Is the point of contact for all access control and badging requirements and needs.
Assist in troubleshooting system performance, functionality, and reporting concerns.
Programming badges for access into restricted card reader-controlled areas – these areas include, but are not limited to: controlled drug areas, document filing areas, security areas, executive areas, etc.
Support Global Security Operations, Talent Acquisition, Human Resources, Employee Relations, and our contract service providers with various responsibilities including but not limited to: maintaining an accurate Security Watch list to ensure that only approved and vetted individuals are permitted on site, exporting date/time reports to support active investigations, exporting card holder reports, maintaining an accurate log of individuals with CDA/DEA/AR status designation.
Verifying required background screening requirements are completed by non-staff augmented contractors prior to receiving badge access.
Troubleshooting and reconciliation of user badge issues in multiple access control systems. Creating and modification of access levels in the access control system and collaboration with the appropriate access level owners. Complete quarterly audits of cardholder assignments to restricted areas/verifying and updating current approvers for restricted areas.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent is required. Associates or higher education preferred. A minimum of three years of relevant experience is required such as: security operations, customer service, security system technical support and/or business technology support. A familiarity with system-related programs is preferred.
High degree of accuracy, attention to detail and completeness, excellent customer service and communication skills, ability to work in a fast- paced and sometimes stressful work environment. Must be a strong team player that is able to work and collaborate effectively with others. Bilingual skills preferred.
