The Global Security Protective Services Analyst is part of the broader Protective Services Team within Meta Global Security. The Protective Services Analyst supports intelligence-related tasks including investigations, the assessments of risk and threats, producing advisories, executive protection support and operational methods.The successful candidate will provide analytical expertise to support a variety of cross-functional internal Meta clients - headquarters and regional offices - within the Meta Company for threat assessment and intelligence purposes with the goal of supporting the safety and security of our people, assets, and reputation.The global presence of Meta and the nature of Global Security operations require the Global Security Intelligence and Investigations Team to be available 24/7 to manage relationships, collect and analyze relevant information, and communicate to executives and stakeholders as needed regarding risks as they develop.The ideal candidate will be an analyst who can utilize advanced analytic and investigative techniques to develop tailored intelligence products, and has an excitement for corporate security, analysis and problem-solving. The candidate will be part of a regional team and be responsible for monitoring all-source information to proactively identify and assess risks and threats that could impact Meta's people, assets and reputation. This is a cross-functional role that partners closely with Executive Protection, Investigations, Intelligence and other Global Security and Meta internal teams.
Global Security, Protective Services Analyst Responsibilities:
Produce intelligence reports and threat assessmentsConduct investigationsAnalyze and assess risks and threats to Meta's executives across the designated region/functionMonitor all-source information to pro-actively identify and assess threats that could potentially impact Meta's global executives and business operationsComplete team projects and products at the direction of ManagementSupport an environment of protecting Meta's people, assets, and reputation through pro-active intelligence reporting, intelligence and information sharing, and partnering with Global Security and cross-functional FB partnersUtilize structured analytic techniques to develop tailored intelligence products and provide threat warning notifications to Meta decision-makers, regionally and globallyGather and analyze data to facilitate improvements in the methodologies, tools and techniques to enable the team to scale and optimize operations to mitigate potential riskAppropriately leverage resources, technology, information, and tactics in a manner that protects reputation and minimizes riskDevelop and sustain a collaborative partnership with headquarters and regional partnersDevelop and maintain strong relationships with other business partners to effectively support their respective DepartmentsDrive a respectful team culture centered on open communication, sharing, listening, and recognition of team members at all levelsFollow company procedures and processes as it relates to Global Security best practices, and handling of confidential informationFlexible work schedule, able to work days, evenings, weekends and holidaysTravel to regional and global offices and events annually ( Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree5+ years of work experience in analytical, investigative and/or executive protection disciplines Analytical and problem-solving experienceExperience working with highly confidential informationProven ability to identify and assess threat factors, and develop and implement risk management strategies.Experience incorporating new threat information into security products and processes. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to apply advanced analytical techniques to identify and mitigate security risks.Experience with intelligence reporting and information sharing, and building cross-functional partnerships to protect the company.About Meta:
