Hitachi Energy is now seeking a Global Product Specialist/Manager to assume global responsibility for the Power Quality Application control and substation integration. In this role you will be responsible for the overall prioritization of the control application for Power Quality based on MACH and interface with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the application for Power Quality has its own value and product roadmap, in close collaboration with our portfolio product managers.
Your responsibilities
Derive the need's from internal and external stakeholders, and lead the products vision and strategy, and define requirements and timeline for the R&D organization to include in product roadmaps.Follow up with R&D and ensure the vision and business priorities are clear.Lead the integration of developments within the business and support their scaling toward independence to serve the customers. Define the products value proposition and offering based on interaction with internal and external stakeholders.Understand the products current performance and drive needs for the future improvements within the roadmap.Collaborate with internal and external partners to further modularize the product, as well as manage its lifecycle.Participate together with Marketing and Sales towards our customer and other external channels to promote the products and support our business development.
Your background
You are familiar with power system protection, automation and control and preferably experience from the Hitachi Energy MACH control and protection system for Power Quality or HVDC.Engineering degree and a minimum of 10 years of experience from product management and/or marketing and sales of relevant products.You are a proactive communicator and strong in building internal and external relationships.You are fluent in English since you will be part of an international setting where you will need to communicate with people from all over the world.Leadership experience preferred.
