Global Process Engineering Manager
Description
Your tasks: Lead the development of electrochemical processes and technologies for hydrogen production through electrolysis, from initial design to commercialization. Provide leadership to a global team for product development, customer project execution and process engineering method; schedule and coordinate work plans and assign tasks; mentor and guide team members. With your effective communication skills, you build a high-performing, global process engineering and maintain strong working relationships with major stakeholders within electrolyzer engineers and across broader business. This product focused, developing leadership position applies highly specialized knowledge of engineering principles and practices to lead the creation of optimized system-level design concepts with little supervision required. The role requires a strong product-oriented mindset, leading the application of relevant development methods, processes and tools like stage-gate process, risk mitigation and change management methods. Improving the effectiveness of the organization by leading the build of process engineering framework by establishing standards, guidelines, harmonized process engineering tools and management of improvement projects Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure consistent and reliable operation of electrolyzer systems. Strengthening and improving development speed by enhancing analytical and simulation capabilities in process engineering Keep up to date with the latest developments in the field of electrochemical engineering and hydrogen production and leverage this knowledge to drive innovation and competitive advantage. Qualifications
Your profile: Master or PhD degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field Prior experience within similar industry (Strong Asset) Proven track record in chemical and process engineering, with a focus on electrochemical processes and technologies, combined with a strong product engineering mindset. Experience with one of following is strongly preferred: Chemical engineering, designing products for chemical plants, offshore platforms, oil and gas plants, valves, pumps, pipes, vessels, heat exchangers, electrolyzers. Experience in project management and team leadership of big teams (25 - 30 direct reports), with a track record of delivering successful projects on time and within budget. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical challenges. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and clients. Experience in the design and optimization of electrolysis systems and components is strongly preferred. Excellent knowledge of English both verbal and written.
