We are actively seeking a driven Global Mobility Partner to join our esteemed Global Mobility Team. As a key member, you will directly report to the Global Mobility Manager and assume the role of a subject matter expert, specializing in international assignment related matters. Your responsibilities will include strategically collaborating with the global HRBP and providing dedicated support to top executive leaders at Hitachi Energy for their mobility requirements. Your responsibilities
Understands business strategy and key business drivers in respective business unit and operates as a speaking partner to both the global HRBP and the BU business leaders via being the main management point of contact for mobility requirements.Provides a strategic overview of best use of mobility, explains key concepts and methodology. Understand the talent strategy, how it relates to mobility and acts as talent strategy enabler by working with colleagues in the Business and Talent function.Act as a consultant on all general enquiries around the Global Mobility Function and the international assignment process as well as advising on policy interpretation and exceptions with HRBPs, the business leaders as well as the assignee.Network and relationship management with the key stakeholders and representation of mobility at management meetings.Partners with business leaders in the Business Unit/Function to understand current issues that can be supported or resolved through HR practices, processes, or policies. Counsel business leadership on the most effective solutions to resolve issues and support long-term objectives. Be a key point of contact within the area of responsibility for compliance support, management requirements etc.Manage executive and/or high-complex international assignments on global level and support the Global Mobility strategy: acting as a single point of contact case manager for assignees and the business, this role will provide high-level support and advice in all areas of assignment management.When required, act as a case manager who is the single point of contact for the assignee and family to provide advice in the end-to-end management of their individual assignment within Hitachi Energy. Run salary calculations utilizing balance sheet approach, define compensation package, and prepare cost estimates. Brief assignees on the conditions of the assignment package and provide support on understanding of the terms of the mobility policy and any related benefits.
Your background
A Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing global mobility matters.A strong knowledge in Global Mobility (international assignments) including immigration, tax, policy development, cross-border working, compensation practice, benefit management and issue resolution.Adequate experience to be able to operate at a Group level and influence key stakeholders.You need to possess excellent communication skills and be able to interact with people of different cultures and nationalities.Delivery focused and able to work to tight deadlines.Able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.Fluent in spoken and written English; additional languages preferable
