What a Global Mobility, Immigration Manager does at Visa:
Act as a strategic and trusted thought partner to our People team across Asia Pacific (AP).Is accountable for the successful execution of our immigration and work permit strategy and policies in APDevelops and implements immigration reporting, establishing consistent practices and managing the day-to-day service deliverySupport Visa colleagues across multiple client groupsLeads the AP immigration strategy with a sharp focus on vendor capabilities and stakeholder engagement, while leveraging analytics to support and drive program improvementsEffectively utilize the immigration service supplier’s Visa-dedicated support personDevelop and deliver immigration related training sessions to the Talent Acquisition team, People Business Partners, employees, their managers, and other cross-functional stakeholdersResponsible for regional vendor management and oversight of the Company’s immigration services supplier including contracts, billing, maintaining consistent and high-quality service performance, program reviews, escalations, exception requests, internal control activities, process improvement plans, etc.Deliver a customer focused approach.Implement local and global initiatives pertaining to AP immigration.Carry out operational and Project Management activities.Stay abreast of rapidly immigration changes in the region and proactively communicates to stakeholdersThe right candidate for this role thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a strong desire to drive business results with a roll your sleeves up attitude Qualifications What you will need:
5 years of hands-on Global immigration experience specific to AP, as well as a solid understanding of the overall Mobility space.Understanding of immigration regulations across multiple markets.Provide timely advice and support to facilitate compliance with AP immigration requirements.Set the right expectations and timelines regarding AP work permit applications (including Permanent Residency options) and authorization to travel/work within the AP region.Ability to work at both operational and strategic levels.Proven track record in measuring and improving employee and senior stakeholder experiences.Experience in leading Mobility transformation and process improvement projects.Ability to translate complex situations into easy solutions for clear stakeholder understanding.Strong customer service orientation.Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.Bachelor’s degree.
