We're now looking for a Global Logistics Cost Out Lead to join our highly successful global supply chain team based in Dublin . What you'll do:
In this new, exciting position you will bring governance in the cost out process for Global Logistics at Eaton. You will also ensure end-to-end process alignment between Corporate Logistics, Businesses and Finance for cost out programs, as well as cost out tools management.
Responsibilities:
A key deliverable of this position is rigorous adherence to the ESSP ( Eaton Supplier Selection) process with full collaboration with Categories, EIIC (Eaton Ireland Industries Corporation) and Centre of Excellence organisation Overall Accountability to drive the organization to achieve robust process governance for cost outDevelop a deep understanding of category, business, and new suppliers cost drivers to promote a meaningful debate and challenge of forecasts and actual performanceProactively identify gaps in the processes and define clear actions and ownershipWork with cross functional team on weekly/monthly/quarterly basis to identify delivery challenges and problem solve issuesBuild Strong relationships across cross functional teams to drive performance and create a culture of governanceBe an enabler to bridge the gaps in organization with respect procurement Key KPI's
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in a relevant subject such as Engineering, Technology or BusinessLogistics background- experience working with cross functional teams in procurement, materials, manufacturing, engineering and financeFinancial acumenProgram Management experience and ability to work in a complex , matrix organisation
Skills:
Good problem solving skillsExcellent communication skills- ability to present and negotiate with diverse stakeholdersFlexibility and willingness to travel globally ( aprox 20 % of the role)
