About Global HR Business Partner - Functions & Product Groups (f/m/d)

  You as HR Business Partner, will be part of Hitachi Energy Transformers Business Unit and reporting to the BU Strategic HR Business Partner, you are accountable for the overall HR contribution and value-add to the BU Global Product Groups and global Functions organizations, translating business goals into HR priorities and ensuring effective implementation in partnership with the appropriate Centers of Expertise (CoE) and HR Operations. You will work closely with the BU global HR team and the HUBs local HR teams to execute on your mission.

  Your responsibilities

  Strategy Alignment Work in partnership with BU Strategic HRBP to implement HR priorities in the organizations in line with GPGs and global Functions priorities and people strategy, covering culture, people, and organization utilizing the existing HR solution portfolio or ensuring to provide new solutions where appropriateHR Solutions Partner with managers and employees in GPGs and global Functions to understand current issues that can be supported or resolved through HR practices, processes, or policies. Counsel Managers and employees on the most effective solutions to resolve issues. Acts as consultant, sparring partner, coach, and facilitator to business leaders and teamsHitachi Energy HR Process Implementation Work in partnership with BU Strategic HRBP to oversee implementation of HR processes for GPGs and global Functions, ensuring compliance with Hitachi Energy policy and guidelines, such as but not limited to strategic workforce planning, global performance management cycle, annual salary reviews etc.Transformers HR Data and reporting: Drive specific BU data analytics and ensure data accuracy for Global Product Groups and global Functions organizationsTalent Acquisition Work closely with global Talent Acquisition team to support GPGs and global Functions' hiring initiatives and needs. Coordinate successful recruitment of key global positions, and manage seamless onboarding in partnership with local HRBP.Talent management In collaboration with BU Strategic HRBP, drive and execute all talent processes with Business Leaders e.g. identification and succession planning on business critical positions, diversity and inclusionPerformance Management Support managers to implement and follow up performance management activities for GPGs and global Functions, including performance improvement, GPM discussion, individual development plan, etc.Learning & Development Partner with business leaders to understand and identify learning requirements for both individuals and critical populations for GPGs and global Functions. In alignment with BU Strategic HRBP, collaborate with Learning Partners to decide appropriate learning strategies. Measure and evaluate effectiveness of learning solutions to demonstrate business impact.Retention and Engagement Monitor employee turnover, assess employee engagement and morale and take actions to address issuesStandards and Governance Implement and ensure compliance with global and local standards, rules, tools, policies and processes in collaboration with local HRBP teamsLiving core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues, and the business

  Your background

  A Degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or acceptable equivalent is required; an advanced degree is a plusTen plus years of progressive experience in a Human Resources generalist role, ideally in a manufacturing environmentExperience in a global, multinational matrix environmentDemonstrated ability to effectively partner with the business leadership and influence the strategic business interests of the organizationProven change and project management skills and experienceAbility to successfully navigate complexity and ambiguityHighly analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong data analytic skillsFlexibility and strong team working/collaborating.Excellent communications skills, including written and verbal
