The Head of Compensation & Benefits is accountable for the strategy, implementation and administration of all compensation and employee benefits programs and processes globally. This position establishes the guidelines for global and local compensation plans as well as benefit program; provides special guidance and assistance to all Departments and locations on ensuring compliance with these guidelines and programs while advising on innovative and creative ways to compensate Team Members and to provide them with useful benefits that promote engagement and aid retention.
Main Responsibilities:
Establish the organization''s compensation strategy - pay structure, variable compensation, benefits offerings and equity programsAdvise and support in the development and execution of short-term and long-range plans and budgets based on broad corporate goals, acquisitions, strategic planning and growth objectives.Conducts salary benchmark analysis to update the compensation strategy as appropriate and to identify opportunities in compensation that result in additional benefits for the employee or savings to the companyDesign and lead the salary review process Manages the variable compensation programs to ensure compliance with program details and payment schedulesAdvices HR and functional leaders to ensure competitive pay rates and benefits programs for employee retention or recognitionDesigns policies for and manages relocation programsChoose and manage outside partners such as benefits vendors and brokers Negotiate competitive rates for global and local benefits and services for employeesCreate and revise employee benefits policies to assess whether they are current, competitive, and legal.Manages benefit enrollment, eligibility, records and conduct audits for accuracySupport HR and Managers with the payroll process to ensure accuracy and timelinessPromote and communicate company benefits and compensation policiesReport and analyze payroll budget against executed for all Selina DepartmentsWorks with company leaders on creating the strategy and guidelines for equity-sharing programsManage the equity-sharing programs for all employeesEnsure compliance with local compensation and benefits requirements during the budget-making process and the day-to-day managementEnsure
What you need for the role
Master's Degree in Human Resources or Business, or the equivalent combination of directly related education, training, and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilitiesMust be based in Madrid, Spain.Candidates must be fluent in English and Spanish.7 or more years of relevant and demonstrated international compensation & benefits administration experience Public Company experience ideally within the USAWillingness to work hands-on with team A working and demonstrated knowledge of corporate relocation program and associated vendor management is requiredProficient in data reporting and analysisExperience in managing multi-country compensation and benefits programs Public Company Compensation Committee experience
