Be a part of a team that is at the leading edge of flight safety, flight training and flight operations. As a Global Engagement Specialist, you will have the opportunity to work with professionals from across the industry and positively impact safety and operations of Boeing flight operations and those of our customers world-wide. In this high visibility position you will interact with pilots, managers, regulators, executives, peers, supporting team personnel, and Subject Matter Experts.
Responsibilities:
Performs instructional and professional activities to support flight crew training, standardization, and flight procedures/operational techniques.
Oversees development and delivery of flight crew training, simulator training and simulator familiarization flights.
Observes customer operations and reviews recommendations on flight operations and procedures; provides technical information to clarify and apply Boeing flight procedures to customer operations.
Assists in development and application of company safety initiatives, strategies that are used in support of continuous accident reduction.
Leads the development, reviews, validation, and standardization of flight-related materials, technical bulletins and procedures; leads coordination with others regarding changes affecting flight operations and safety.
Participates in flight deck design and test to develop, validate and ensure adherence to flight crew procedures and operating techniques.
Supports activities to obtain aircraft certification.
This is a non flying position, Aviation medical notrequired.
Required Qualifications:
Facilitation of industry best practices for operations, training & safety.
Consulting activities andassistin customer support.
Airline management support.
Quality Assurance / Quality Control (QA/QC).
Safety Management System (SMS).
Safety reviews.
Flight data monitoring (FDM/FOQA).
Crew Resource Management (CRM).
Fatigue Risk Management (FRMS).
Regulatory affairs.
Experienced Technical pilot.
Cultural awareness, sharing the values,ethosand belief in diversity of our group.
A goodrelationship builderwith excellent communication skills.
Personable, organized with a flair for accuracy, planning,analysisand reporting.
Demonstrable competency in the use of IT.Proficient in Microsoft Office suite & project planning software.
Ability to travel domestic & internationally for more than 50% of the time.
Work Authorization:
This requisition is for a locally hired position. Candidates must have current legal authorization to work immediately in the job open location.
