Overview
Mailchimp's Global Education & Enablement (GEE) team blends the empowerment of our customers and employees in a cohesive and deliberate fashion to make meaningful impacts on the customers' brand, our product, and business goals. We develop creative, innovative, and scalable educational strategies to support the usage and adoption of the Mailchimp product across the globe.
The Global Enablement team is one of the three pillars of the broader GEE Team. This team creates content to simplify complex ideas and help internal and external users understand how to get the most from Mailchimp. Our team produces and manages written and visual assets to meet the educational needs of Mailchimp employees, users, partners, and support staff across the globe. This internship will have a focus in Instructional Design and Learning Technology.
What you'll bring
Pursuing a degree in instructional design technology, education, or communicationProficient at professional training utilizing adult learning theory, and courseware development Experience in technical-based training (TBT) designExperience managing a variety of instructional design related projectsPrior experience with Docebo LMS (Learning Management System), or other learning systemsDemonstrated facilitation experienceExisting knowledge of adult learning and instructional design principlesHighly professional, organized, and reliable
How you will lead
Develop or lead the development of Technology Based Training (TBT) and Instructor-Led Training (ILT) packages in accordance with sound instructional design (ID) principles. Performs occasional instructor-led training programs and Train-the-trainer on curriculum developed if appropriate. Create and analyze assessments for determining efficacy of training programsCreate and analyze reports and dashboards for various training programsCreate or update course content in the LMSDevelop eLearning templates and standardsPerform quality assurance checks on content and tests content functionality and communication with LMS prior to deployment
