About the Team
The User Growth team plays a core role in the acquisition, activation, and retention of billions of users through our globally popular products such as TikTok, Resso, CapCut, Helo. We are building platforms, leveraging data & ML models, and providing end-to-end solutions to power the global growth of ByteDance products. Typical growth projects include paid ads, referrals and notifications.
Responsibilities:
Take charge of user growth, mainly with the following responsibilities:
-Develop a deep understanding of consumer needs and pain points across various channels, and translate these insights into product recommendations and improvements.
-Understanding local markets and users, making right product judgement to improve the efficiency of user acquisition and optimize user LTV.
-Improving the effectiveness of platform operations and building capabilities for automated business management to reduce costs and increase efficiency in budgeting, strategy making, and other scenarios.
-Improving promotion tools of both users and sellers, and building diagnosis and management capabilities.
-Building local user growth product team structure and strategy and enabling the team.
Qualifications
-BA/BS degree, 5 years of professional experience in a user growth role involving media buy, performance ads strategy, product growth
-Be interested in exploring the commonalities and differences in the needs of users under different cultural backgrounds.
-Energetic self-starter and quick learner with strong organizational, communication, and XFN collaboration skills; ability to perform under pressure.
-Excellent quantitative skills and the ability to work with key metrics and data.
