Our team is responsible for supporting the rapidly growing Startup business, from Sales Leaders to Solutions Architects, Business Development leaders and everything in between. We are obsessed with delivering results for customers and supporting the startup organization in shaping the direction of the business. We are seeking a Global Business Operations Leader to collaborate with the General Manager for the Startup Segment and the Head of Startup Sales Strategy, Operations and Enablement (SSOE) to define, land and execute the key mechanism to manage the segments operational performance. This role will focus on defining, measuring and elevating the key metrics for the business as well as managing the revenue Forecast and review cadences. The ideal candidate will drive alignment with broader AWS Sales and Marketing Organization while ensuring focus on the specific needs of the Startup Segment. This role will partner with stakeholders including Sales, Finance, Sales Operations, Sales Insights and Data Science (SIADS), and Enablement teams. The individual will incubate new programs to execute on the strategy and will consistently deliver successfully against high standards. This is a hands-on position - the ideal candidate must be willing to “roll up the sleeves.”

Key job responsibilities
Run the Global Revenue Forecast Mechanism for the Startup Segment
Develop and monitor key metrics to measure and improve operating processes, preparing insights and narratives for the Weekly and Monthly Business review cadences
Work with key stakeholders to identify performance gaps, prioritize opportunities, and manage improvement roadmap
Effectively communicate tactical process decisions and plans, project status, and issues and workarounds
Investigate and identify root causes of process performance drivers; correct or develop new processes to achieve required performance.
Develop detailed work and resource plans, schedules, project estimates, and status reports.

Basic Qualifications
7+ years’ experience in business operations, sales operations, business intelligence, analytics or finance.
5+ years conducting sophisticated and creative analysis of complex data and translate the results into actionable deliverables, messages, and presentations.
5+ years defining, refining, and implementing sales processes, procedures and policies.
Bachelor’s degree is required.
Preferred Qualifications
Professional level verbal and written communications skills and ability to articulate complex concepts to cross-functional audiences.
Excellent cross group collaboration skills.
Highly organized, detail oriented, and efficient in ambiguous situations.
Six Sigma, Project Management Professional (PMP), PRINCE2, Certified Project Management Practitioner (CPMP) or other project/program management certification.
MBA or other relevant advanced degree.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $107,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $199,300/year in our highest geographic market.
