Our Global OE BI hub for worldwide Business Intelligence in OE Tires is looking for a functional lead for Truck & PLT. In this position, you will be networking with various stakeholders from the Americas, APAC and EMEA. This position will also require you to coordinate worldwide tasks like OE market development, Continental unit sales, market share development & competitor data . This position is limited until 30.09.2024.
Be the center of competence when it comes to manage, release, analyze and visualize Market and Conti internal data to share with internal and external customers and partners using KNIME, Tableau and Power BI or SharePoint
Analyze different internal and external data sources to identify market risks and opportunities
Monitor and report regularly the worldwide business environment by region, considering the automotive OE industry, development of macro economic indicators, future OE-market and tire trends
Support and guide the bi-yearly 5-year market planning processes for PLT and Truck business
Use advanced analytic methods to gather insights about our business. Come up with strategic conclusions and business recommendations to guide the global OE department
Keep track of our competitive environment, verify and specify the information (strategic moves, RoS, capacity) and exchange regularly with the global network of experts in RE, OE and other Business Areas (Automotive, ContiTech)

Academic Degree in Business Administration or equivalent studies
Several years of professional experience, preferable in the Automotive Industry
Advanced Data Management & Data Visualization KnowHow is required with programs like Tableau, Power BI or KNIME
A curious nature with a strong affinity for data and profound knowledge of MS Office-programs
Advanced Methods for data collection, administration and storage as well as being able to analyze these data and distribute them to the various stakeholders afterward
Basic understanding of interdependencies of Continental's business context
Analytical, structured and independent way of working
Fluent English skills (both written and spoken)
Strong communication and presentation skills to express your ideas and results clearly and convincingly
Strong team player with the capability of networking easily
