Your Impact:
The Global Brand Development Manager is a key position within Hearst Magazines International. The role focuses on relationship management with our publishing partners spanning the globe. The Brand Development Manager collaborates with our sales, marketing, finance, and legal teams to ensure we support our partners to enable and empower growth. The successful candidate will help fulfill HMI's objectives and key results via an enhanced, accountable, and growth-oriented relationship with Hearst licensees.
What You'll Do:
Meet regularly with our partners to establish relationships built on success Develop in-depth understanding of HMI's licensees' businesses to identify areas for growth Review and discuss partner financial performance internally and with our licensees Provide connectivity for our partners to other territories to foster knowledge sharing on market trends, commercial opportunities, and areas of potential cross-border collaboration Contribute and develop processes and workflows to optimize Hearst partnerships Partner closely with media licensing sales, marketing, editorial and brand, as well as digital strategy to help drive the expansion of our global licensing business Provide orientation to new Hearst partners by driving the licensee onboarding process with collaboration with key HMI stakeholders Work with finance and legal teams to ensure our licensees are in compliance with Hearst's policies Develop key internal relationships across our owned global businesses to provide partners with expertise and support for their growthWho You Are:
BA/BS required 3+ years of client service experience ideally in an international role Ability to balance competing priorities and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Ability to navigate and lead complex projects through to completion including multiple stakeholders Excellent writing and communication skills Demonstrated expertise using PowerPoint/Keynote/Google Slides Flexible, personable, and solutions-oriented attitude; ability to collaborate with all levels of personnel across all functionalities This role requires the position to be located in New York, NY with an in-office presence of 3 days a week.
The base salary for this role is between $70,000 to $80,000 annually. The actual base pay offered is dependent upon many factors, such as: transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
