As Germany navigates a dramatic shift away from its historic dependence on Russian gas, we're looking for someone who's skilled in covering companies to report on the country's most important energy firms.
Based in Europe's biggest market, you will also be a key part of our power coverage, providing scoops that matter to core clients and broader features that tell the increasingly high-profile energy story to a wider audience. We need a reporter who can connect the dots between what companies are doing, how prices are moving and what it all means for the energy transition.
You will work closely with other members of the power, gas and renewables team as well as the broader newsroom, so collaboration skills are crucial. You'll also be expected to adopt a multimedia approach to news and storytelling, embracing opportunities across Bloomberg's various platforms.
This role can be based in Frankfurt or Berlin.

Develop a strong network of sources Break the biggest stories that Bloomberg clients care about Craft coverage for both expert terminal readers and a broader web readership Work in close collaboration with other members of the newsroom in Germany, energy, deals and more Work with dataviz colleagues to produce ambitious enterprise
