Job Description Primary Function of Position:
The Genesis Operations Analyst Intern will partner with the Group Manager of Genesis Operations to explore, identify, and implement key performance indicators that outline the impact of our business and customers. This individual will manage cross functional projects that enhance and increase the scale of Genesis training and consulting initiatives through analytical and automated tools. This role will also participate in program pilots and provide support for Genesis, customer training, engineering and research initiatives.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Partner with global internal analytics teams, such as Finance, Sales Operations, Enterprise Analytics, and Data Science to explore key performance indicators of the Genesis team and our customersDefine project scope, goals, and deliverables that outline the demand to integrate and sustain success metrics for future tool adoptionEstablish innovate solutions/strategies to improve the effectiveness of our business operationsCollaboration with management and stakeholders to drive unified approach while outlining key milestones throughout project maturity and product progressionResearch and apply innovative processes to overcome current project challengesPrepare reports for program stakeholders and involved parties to showcase the impact of project performance and goal completionAssume responsibility for program results and communicationsCreate and report outcomes of relevant surveys and evaluation tools
Qualifications University Hiring Program Eligibility Requirements:
University Enrollment: Must be currently enrolled in and returning to an accredited degree-seeking academic program in the Fall.Internship Work Period: Must be available to work full-time (approximately 40 hours per week) during a 10-12 week period starting May or June. Specific start dates are shared during the recruiting process. Skills, Experience, Education, & Training:
Currently enrollment in a B.S./B.A. degree-seeking programWell versed in Business Intelligence (BI) tools such as Tableau, Power BI, etc.Strong background in analytics and data explorationExcellent knowledge of performance evaluation and change management principlesExcellent communication & problem-solving skillsExcellent leadership, presentation and organizational skillsThorough understanding of project /program management techniques and methodsFundamental understanding of hospital operations and perioperative functions Additional Information

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay (paid at an hourly rate), benefits, and a housing allowance. It would not be typical for someone to be hired at the top end of range for the role, as actual pay will be determined based on several factors, including relevant skills and experience for this internship, degree-seeking academic program (PhD, Master’s, Bachelor’s, etc), year in school, and location. The hourly rate is prorated against the intern program salaries listed and total program compensation will be based on internship duration.
