Job Summary: The candidate will establish a new General Surgery clinic as part of our highly collaborative Baylor St. Luke's Medical Group on the campus of our St. Luke's Health Vintage Hospital in the Northwest Houston suburbs adjacent to Vintage Park. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on clinical excellence and patient satisfaction. Candidate will display exceptional interpersonal skills and desire to develop strong ties with the community and existing medical staff. This position will be supported by system resources in both the outpatient and inpatient settings.
Baylor St. Luke's Medical Group is a collaborative partnership between St. Luke's Health System and Baylor College of Medicine.
Practice Information:
Employed position with Baylor St. Luke's Medical Group
Establish new General Surgery clinic site
Supported by surrounding group Primary Care Physicians
Dedicated M.A. support as well as non-clinical staff
Schedule, full-time Monday through Friday, minimum of 36 patient accessible hours plus 4 hours of administrative time
Surgical call per hospital by-laws and participating call group
Education and Certifications Required:
Board certified or board eligible - American Board of Surgery
Texas licensed, preferred
Experience: 1-3 Years' experience preferred, but new grads will be considered.

Flexible and willing to support organizational needs with regard to healthcare and market changes
Solid clinical expertise with a commitment to patient care outcomes
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Willingness to serve as a team member and clinical leader in the workplace
