The Section of General Pediatrics at Dartmouth Health Children’s and The Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth is seeking a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for its busy Pediatrics Department within our Community Group Division in Concord, NH. The ideal candidate should possess a strong commitment to quality patient and family centered care. The ability to practice well as part of a medical team is essential to the success of this role.
Dartmouth Health Children’s is the pediatric service of Dartmouth Health (DH), an integrated academic healthcare delivery system for northern New England anchored in Lebanon, New Hampshire at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center (DHMC), recognized by US News & World Report as the Best Hospital in NH and home to the NCI-designated Norris Cotton Cancer Center and the Dartmouth Institute for Health Policy and Clinical Practice. Children’s Hospital at DHMC- CHaD, maintains an inpatient pediatric unit with PICU and a level III NICU at DHMC and a comprehensive ambulatory multispecialty pediatric center at the Dartmouth Hitchcock Clinic in Manchester, the largest city in the state.

Responsibilities
• Group will consist of 8 MDs and 3 APPs in an outpatient only practice
• Weekend call is shared with our DH Manchester colleagues with rotation being approximately 1:1016 weekends. Weekends and holidays patients are seen in the DH in Manchester Pediatric location
• 32 hours of face-to-face patient contact time for a 1.0 FTE
• This Outpatient practices sees patients for annual physicals, sick visits, and some mental health care
• The department is supported by nursing staff, certified medical assistants, receptionists, a resource specialist, and a behavioral health clinician
• Associate providers are supported by the medical home team of physicians for the department
Qualifications
• Prefer Pediatric certified associate provider
• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Pediatrics
• Must obtain and maintain a medical license in the State of NH
Required Licensure/Certifications
Eligible for RN licensure in the State of NH (APRN only)
Eligible for APRN or PA licensure in the State of NH
Eligible for Federal DEA Registration
BLS certification
