Honeywell Fluorine Products is looking for a General Manager for HF & BF3 that has an entrepreneurial mindset and a focus on growth and operational excellence. The General Manager will provide leadership to a cross functional team of direct and matrix reporting employees. In this position, the General Manager will be responsible for developing the business strategy and execution of that strategy with full P/L responsibility. This role will develop market opportunities, oversight on sales pursuits, manage internal processes, and form strategic relationships with key customers ranging from multinational companies to regional companies.
This position will report to the VP GM of Foam & Industrial Products and will actively contribute to overall strategic planning for FIP.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead the development and execution of the strategy for the HF/F3 business segment
Own the segment P/L; provide oversight to sales and internal team on supply planning and forecasting to ensure flawless execution to customers. Improve profitability through cost and productivity savings.
Lead commercial representative working with procurement on critical raw material contracts, third party suppliers, qualifications, and business continuity planning
Drive pricing and contracting discipline to grow margins and overall profitability of the segment
Define the Strategic Plans (STRAP) and business roadmap, product portfolio optimization, asset strategy and competitive landscape. Develop and execute Annual Operating Plans (AOP).
Identify and foster growth opportunities in new market segments and adjacencies; develop paths to alternative service revenue streams
Manage and hold team accountable for sales pipeline and adjacency growth ideas
Oversight of contract negotiations and closing deals
Develop the team, retain top talent, ensure robust succession plans are in place
Network across businesses and collaborate to improve financial outcomes for Honeywell
Represent HON at industry events and associations, conduct customer events and training workshops
U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

YOU MUST HAVE
5+ years of experience in marketing/ commercial roles
3+ years’ experience in a multinational environment

Bachelor’s Degree valued, MBA preferred
