General Managers (GMs) are critical to our success and our Graduate Leadership Development Program (GLDP) will prepare you for this exciting and rewarding career. The GM GLDP is designed as a unique opportunity for high-potential MBA graduates to develop the vital skills to propel their career trajectory as a GM. The GM GLDP experience is managed by a dedicated Program Manager and offers curated interactions across our Senior and Executive-level leaders.
What will you do?
GM GLDP participants will have the opportunity for multiple rotational assignments over two (2) years that provide a broad experience in different facets of General Management while allowing for exposure to our core processes, technologies, and leaders. Each rotation is individually designed and determined through a combination of business priorities, participant interests, and areas of development. Participants will gain familiarity with our diverse functional areas, business units, products / services, and regions. Additional learning opportunities support the accelerated nature of the program and will include: formal learning sessions; an Executive Mentor program; project team support; utilization of our Practical Process Improvement (PPI) methodology; and a network of Leadership Development Program alumni across the organization. The Program Manager will partner with participants to align on post-program placement and identify positions where graduates will continue to hone critical General Management competencies.
Please Note: The GM GLDP is set to begin July 15, 2024 and individuals are responsible for finalizing housing and transportation prior to program commencement and across each rotation throughout the two (2) year program.

Compensation & Locations:
Our GM GLDP offers a starting salary of $132,000 in addition to the following as part of the total compensation:

Geographic flexibility is required as rotations require relocation and program graduates may be asked to relocate for post-program placement. As a participant in the GM GLDP, individuals may rotate through Thermo Fisher Scientific sites in the following locations:

Graduate student completing an MBA degree between December 2023 and June 2024 with a STEM-related undergraduate degree.5+ years of relevant experience required (7+ preferred) - ideally gained in large, global organizations. Experience in Life Sciences or STEM-related industry required.1+ years of direct people management and possess a talent mindset.Consistent track record of results demonstrating integrity, innovation, involvement, and intensity.Consultative approach with internal and external stakeholders - sensitive to Voice of the Customer (VOC).Prior experience setting strategy, leading impactful projects, managing budgets, and direct management / development of people and teams.Energized through championing change, driven in getting results, and savvy in navigating ambiguity.Confident utilizing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for effective forecasting and propelling continuous improvement.Ability to interact with and influence colleagues and leaders at all levels of a matrixed environment.Excellent interpersonal communication skills with a high degree of emotional intelligence and strong executive presence.

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in Massachusetts is $113,500.00-$189,100.00.
