Consultants please conduct a seated interview. Applicants must have 20days experience with Farm / Irrigation / Livestock work. Applicantshired must be able to obtain a valid driver\'s license as driving onpublic roads may be required. Applicants must be able to lift up to 100pounds. Dates of need are (3/15/2024 11/15/2024) This order is for workin Corral, Idaho area. Job duties may require a split shift such as 6:00to 10:00 AM and 1:00 to 5:00 PM as well as evening and/or night shiftsspanning two calendar days due to crop demands. Worker will be requiredto perform a variety of duties related to the production of hay, grain,and corn. The majority of the work activities during the overallcontract period, however, will be related to general farmwork/irrigation/crop production. General Farm Work will include thefollowing responsibilities: maintain, drive, attach and operate farmimplements/tractors/equipment to till soil, plant, cultivate, fertilizeand harvest crops; remove rocks from field; replace/repair fencing;perform general cleanup of farm areas; operate motor bike or all-terrainvehicle in the course of performing duties; transport crops fromranch/farm to market. Irrigation duties will include the following: Handlines: connect pipes; check alignment of pipe and adjust for properwater distribution; attach lines to water supply; turn on pump; turnvalves to start flow of water; disassemble lines and carry pipes acrossfields at specified intervals; move pipes through freshly irrigatedcrops and/or plowed fields where mud may be deep at times; lift andcarry pipe sections weighing approximately 40 pounds on a sustainedbasis. Wheel lines: start gasoline engines and operate controls to movelines across fields at specified intervals. To meet minimum acceptableperformance standards when irrigating, the worker must move an averageof at least 48 40-foot sections of 3-inch pipe or 44 40-foot sections of4-inch pipe per hour under normal working conditions.
