As a Gen AI Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and deploying generative AI models that produce creative and novel content, including text, images, and more at scale. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and leverage powerful AI techniques to create innovative solutions that push the boundaries of generative AI.
Key responsibilities:
Continuous Learning:
Research the latest advancements in generative AI, staying up-to-date with powerful techniques and models;Understand the advantages of each generative AI model on the market, including token limits, cost structure, ease of use, commercial availability, ability to fine tune and data privacy.
Data Preprocessing:
Prepare and preprocess data in the cloud and on distributed systems to train generative models, ensuring data quality and compatibility with the chosen model.
Model Training:
Design and develop generative models based on innovative neural network architectures;Train and fine-tune/p-tune/prompt-engineer generative models using large and sophisticated datasets;Experiment with model hyperparameters, embeddings, architectures, and training methodologies to optimize model performance;Supervise model training and make adjustments to optimize model performance.
Evaluation and Testing:
Develop evaluation metrics and conduct rigorous testing to assess the quality and creativity of generated content;Implement strategies to prevent and address common generative AI issues, such as mode collapse, bias, guardrails, and hallucinations.
Model Deployment:
Deploy generative models in cloud and on-prem production environments to ensure scalability, efficiency, low latency, and optimized compute costs;Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams to integrate models into software applications and systems.
