To be successful in this role, the candidate must have the following:
BA/BS degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent work experience. MBA or Master's degree desirableMinimum accredited Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, preferably Black Belt Minimum 5-7 years proven continuous improvement analytical experience from a similar role, including project management and business analysisDeep demonstrable Functional end-to-end expertise within Source to Report, Contracts, Procure to Pay, 3rd Party Risk Management, Compliance & Controls preferredExcellent understanding of continuous improvement concepts including Six Sigma, Lean, value stream mappingExperience of designing or implementing a framework of continuous improvement and Lean solutions Experience of designing remediation plans to address productivity and efficiency issues, and track record of following through to ensure closure Strong analytical, project and product management skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret business needs and translate them into operational requirements Experience of the whole project life cycle, able to operate in the initial conceptual design stage, in the depths of system testing, and at each stage in between Skilled at building relationships (senior leaders across Finance and a broader organization) to drive organizational priorities.Excellent leadership skills. Demonstrated ability to work in a matrix environment, and ability to influence at all levels.Conflict management expertise. Able to effectively resolve conflicts between individual needs and requirements of the organization and across multiple teams with differing business requirementsOutstanding communication skills (written/verbal), presentation and facilitation skillsExperienced in managing and coaching direct reports
How you will lead
In this Continuous Improvement Group Manager role, you will be responsible for the strategy and delivery of process innovation and continuous improvement initiatives across the GBS organization. This important role will help foster a culture of sustainable change through the creation and embedding of LEAN methodology and the supporting framework, to deliver business transformation. Driving outcomes with speed, change management with excellence, and enhancing our ability to scale GBS's impact across Intuit.
Specific responsibilities include:
Develop and implement a 'best-in-class' continuous improvement strategyIdentify and deliver service improvement activities across GBS through employing process improvement methodologies and the application of innovative thinkingWork with key business stakeholders, and SME's to build a continuous improvement pipeline and environment to support an ongoing program of change Own and drive change initiatives from efficiency identification through to project delivery, leveraging internal governance and controls Lead and facilitate LEAN/process improvement based workshops to drive ideas and solutionsSupport the delivery of better value and greater efficiency through the identification and elimination of unnecessary complexity within business processes and identification of better ways of working Identify trends and process variations as part of establishing a continuous improvement monitoring system
