Job Purpose
Develop and deliver approved technical training at recognized Training Centers and local districts to internal employees as part of the GPL Business Strategy.

QUALITY
Responsible for being familar with the Company's Quality policies and takes an active role in the compliance and improvement of Weatherfords Management System
Maintains service quality as immediate priorities when working across all areas of the business and continually seeks areas for improvement
OPERATIONS
Develop a basic, intermediate, and advanced technical training curriculum partnering with the Product Line subject mattter experts and the Segment Training and Competency Manager to ensure that all technical training curriculum learning objectives are aligned with the appropriate Product Line competency standards
Deliver basic, intermediate, and advanced technical training curriculum in a professional manner, provide detailed assessment of student performance, and provide comprehensive performance feedback to managers on their direct reports
Work with Technical Competency Managers to evaluate existing training curriculum to ensure accuracy, relevance, consistency and alignment with strategies and goals
Perform detailed training needs to determine specific curriculum development requirements
Support the Operations group in developing and completing all required competency standards for their personnel
Manage the Segment Asset resources to ensure that all training classes are adequately resourced with tools and equipment
Assist in achieving all Technical Traning department goals and objectives
Adhere to the Technical Training department policies and procedures
Maintain and foster a safe working environment at all times
COMMUNICATION
Build a training class schedule conjunction with the Segment Talent Manager and the Training and Competency Manager that meets the needs of the business
Provide trainnig on virtual mode as well as at Training Centers and locations as determined by the Technical Development Manager
Prepare and deliver technical seminars and workshops to National Oil Company personnel and International Oil Companies personnel virtually or in the client’s location
Maintains effective communications with all key stakeholders both internal and where appropriate external
FINANCIAL
Operate in an efficient and cost-effective manner and within established budgets
Understand and support measurements of the return of investments
All employees have an accountability to the organisation to be financially responsible whether they are in charge of a function budget or simply their own expenses
Costs incurred should be within approved budget, processed within agreed time frames & following the relevant financial policy and procedure
PEOPLE & DEVELOPMENT
Employees have a responsibility for developing their own careers within the Company including completing all necessary function, compliance & business standards training to enhance their knowledge, skills and experience
Employees should engage on a regular basis with their line manager to discuss their personal performance, objectives and opportunities to enhance their skills and experience to support their career potential

Qualifications
Experience & Education
REQUIRED
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science or equivalent qualification or combination of education and experience
4+ years related experience years related working experience with the same service in Oil & Gas sector
Meets established criteria of Product Line Career Plans
Must possess a thorough understanding of the overall business, with a specific competency related to Product Lines applications / operations
Workshop experience in servicing and maintenance of tools
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
REQUIRED
Ability to manage, motivate and assess a dynamic work group
Demonstrated ability to effectively train and mentor personnel in classroom and field environments
Knowledge of technical training program design and development techniques
Ability to plan, delegate, schedule and monitor results
Good oral and written communication skills
Experience in training up local teams
Technical minded and very knowledgeable in the product line category
Able to work under pressure and in varying conditions
