Job Description
Responsibilities: Seeking a Functional tester that will be responsible for testing an Enterprise Metadata Platform application in Agile model. The tester will be responsible for in-sprint testing, regression testing and defect management. This role will be 100% hands and needs someone strong enough in SQL in order to write and read scripts, alter joins, etc. This is a long-term opportunity that will sit in Richmond, VA on a hybrid model.
Skills and Requirements
Must Haves:
5-7 years of Functional testing in agile lifecycle (does not need someone with lead experience)
Working Knowledge of Defect management process, Risk Framework and mitigation, and Enterprise Testing standards
Extensive expertise with QA Deliverables tool set -- (Quality Center, SharePoint, and Microsoft Project/Excel)
Jira
Strong in writing SQL queries
Agile Methodology/SDLC
Good Communication Nice to Have:
Organized and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Highly motivated, able to work independently
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Excellent interpersonal skills, communicates effectively, builds relationships, Influences others
Willingness to learn and adapt to changes null
