This position is hybrid and located in Colorado.
JOB SUMMARY
This position will construct, communicate, and implement the functional framework for new and enhanced mortgage software applications. This position will focus on projects in the areas of Capital Markets, Post Closing, Loan Servicing, and Title Insurance. It is hands-on and collaborative, and requires interacting with product management, product owners, architects, business analysts, end users, and agile delivery teams. Projects may include extending our customer experience and web applications, extending current systems, migrating current systems to a new architecture, business process automation, and third-party integration.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop deep expertise in the software applications and data supporting Capital Markets, Loan Servicing, and Title Insurance.
Have a solid understanding of the principal enterprise applications at Pulte Financial Services. Understand the architecture, functions, integrations, and data of primary applications.
Accelerate projects through translating functional needs into a comprehensive system solution:
Understand/Define the business needs and future vision
Assist with defining the current and future state business process models
Assist product managers in defining scope and describe features
Evaluate solution alternatives
Conceptualize the future state solution using sound analysis and architecture techniques. This includes: Business process modeling, Functional mapping and decomposition, State transition modeling, Event modeling, Sequence flow modeling, Logical data modeling, etc.
Work jointly with business operations groups, architecture, product managers, product owners, and agile development teams to identify opportunities to align technology strategy with business strategy.
Work collaboratively across agile software development teams to define system boundaries, integrations, events, and data structures. Ensure that all applications conform to and integrate with the enterprise architecture.
Promote the effective use of the information management systems and functional architecture best practices or standards throughout the Company.
Provide a strong functional and technical understanding of products with the ability to discuss and explore solution options to meet our users’ business needs.
REQUIRED EDUCATION
Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
Bachelor's or master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related is preferred.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 6 years' experience in information technology with software development delivery, including roles as a hands-on technical product owner, programmer analyst, or architect.
Minimum of 2 years' experience with mortgage software applications.
Expertise in capital markets, financials, and servicing are preferred.
Analytical mindset and demonstrated ability to deeply understand business drivers and functional requirements, envision the system capabilities needed to fulfill them, and define the future state solution.
Understanding of service-oriented architectures, business process, data modeling, software integration/APIs, design patterns, and web technologies. This is needed for successful interaction with the development teams.
Strong written communication skills: ability to create content for review and discussion with enterprise architects, product managers, business SMEs, and executives.
Strong oral communication skills: ability to create and deliver presentations to a variety of technical and non-technical teams, and business subject matter experts. Ability to participate effectively in meetings as a facilitator or contributor.

Salary Range: $125,000 to $135,000 annually depending upon experience.
This position is also eligible for an annual bonus based on the successful completion of defined performance objectives.
