At Palo Alto Networks® everything starts and ends with our mission:
Being the cybersecurity partner of choice, protecting our digital way of life.
Our vision is a world where each day is safer and more secure than the one before. We are a company built on the foundation of challenging and disrupting the way things are done, and we’re looking for innovators who are as committed to shaping the future of cybersecurity as we are.
FLEXWORK is an employee-centric reimagining of how we work. We built FLEXWORK based on employee feedback – it is about flexibility, trust, and choice whenever possible. It’s been a journey of disruption that has yielded the best of our values. We offer as much flexibility as possible, and choices that enable you to be most productive, including benefits that meet your needs and learning opportunities that you feel passionate about.
Your Career
The Prisma Cloud Application Security (CAS) product is responsible for securing the development echo system from code to deployment - We scan infrastructure and applications code, VCS configurations, and the interlinking CI/CD systems used to release cloud applications. The product identifies problems, facilitates “shift left” operations, and helps our customers remediate them.
The Platform group is in charge of managing our customer-facing application. It is tasked with creating a product for developers and DevOps that is fun to work with, with fast performance, and easy to extend and maintain.
We are looking for people who are excited about new technology and architecture, about building a core part of the product, and about high-performance large-scale systems. We are looking for someone who is not afraid to create / change processes to improve the way things are while balancing important new features that are time-sensitive.
Currently, we are looking for a passionate, highly technical, and collaborative Full-Stack Manager to join us and lead one of our team!
Your Impact
You will lead the development of our application, delivering top notch UX, with good quality and performance.
Leading a team of software developers, focusing on the product’s core.
Working with your counterpart PM to define the scope and phases that will help to achieve the best effort vs value balance.
Leading design review sessions, identifying technical bottlenecks and overpowering features when obstacles are discovered.
Introducing and improving the engineering practices on the team – from planning to retrospective; from testing and ci/cd to design principles.
Hiring the best talent for the team, as the team is expected to continue growing.
Your Experience
At least 2 year of managing a team in live production systems
At least 3 years of hands-on experience with React, NodeJS, and Cloud (preferably AWS and Serverless)
Familiarity with CI/CD methodologies, and experience with relevant tools (such as Jenkins, Github actions, CircleCI)
Experience leading complex projects E2E, along with other developers
Have a strong technical background as a software engineer, including the ability to identify design problems and challenging technical plans
Have high standards and opinions on topics such as code quality, testing, and continuous delivery, and enjoy working with others to raise the bar
Experience building on cloud-native services
Collaborative, open-minded person, able to both express his views but also accept input from the PMs, designers, other team managers, and the R&D management
The Team
Our engineering team is at the core of our products – connected directly to the mission of preventing cyberattacks. We are constantly innovating – challenging the way we, and the industry, think about cybersecurity. Our engineers don’t shy away from building products to solve problems no one has pursued before.
We define the industry, instead of waiting for directions. We need individuals who feel comfortable in ambiguity, excited by the prospect of a challenge, and empowered by the unknown risks facing our everyday lives that are only enabled by a secure digital environment.
Our Commitment
We’re trailblazers that dream big, take risks, and challenge cybersecurity’s status quo. It’s simple: we can’t accomplish our mission without diverse teams innovating, together.
We are committed to providing reasonable accommodations for all qualified individuals with a disability. If you require assistance or accommodation due to a disability or special need, please contact us at [email protected] .
