Job Description
A global bank is looking for full stack software engineers to join their Technology Risk Division. The team is tasked with regulatory driven initiatives affecting the firms counter party credit risk application. The project is aimed at improving the counterparty credit risk management capabilities for the firm including building new metrics and workflows to manage counterparty risk effectively. In this role, majority of the work will be interacting with data procedures, and you will build ETL processes to move data into their internal data lake Snowflake. On the backend you must have experience working with Java (preferably Slang) and on the frontend
Skills and Requirements
-3-5 years of experience as a Full Stack Software Engineer with a focus on ETL Processes and integration
-Expertise in the following back and frontend technologies (Java and React)
-Understanding of database technologies such as Sybase ASE, Sybase IQ including Snowflake
-Ability to understand business concepts and convert them into logical data models in a firm proprietary modeling language
-Ability to read and understand existing code and debug
-Prior experience building ETL processes and interaction with data -Prior experience or willingness to learn Slang Infrastructure (Proprietary programming language)
-Prior experience or willingness to learn Alloy null
