How will you make an impact in this role?
This position is within Identity and Access Management organization of Information Security at American Express. This is a Engineer (Band 30) position that requires a proven expertise in Identity and Access Management domain including but not limited to implementing least privilege by managing IAM roles and policies in cloud and Cloud infrastructure entitlement management. In addition, the desired candidate must demonstrate leadership experience in leading a small team of developers to build an enterprise grade application.
Job Responsibilities:
Design and implementation of IAM architecture and frameworks, focusing on scalability, performance, and reliability.
Implementation of least privilege for both person and non-person identities in public clouds
Solve for evolving IAM business needs using internal and external research.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align IAM initiatives with business objectives.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
5 years of strong industry experience in developing web applications using at least of one of the languages mentioned - React, nodejs, Java, Python and golang
Highly motivated team player with the ability to work independently and adapt quickly to new and emerging technologies
Experience in Agile development model including CICD pipeline
2 years of hands on experience on IAM service for one of the public clouds - Amazon Web Services(AWS)/Google Cloud platform(GCP)
Preferred AWS or GCP cloud certification
Qualifications
Salary Range: $85,000.00 to $150,000.00 annually bonus benefits
