Description
Our client is seeking a Full Charge Bookkeeper/Accounting Manager to join their team. You will monitor audit, full cycle A/P, payroll, bank reconciliations, journal entries, month-end close, cash flow, and financial statement preparation. The clerical staff will report to the Full Charge Bookkeeper. If you're looking for a deadline-driven environment with minimal supervision, you might be interested in this accounting role. We are looking for accounting professionals who are accomplished and organized with Non Profit experience. This permanent employment opportunity is based in the West Palm Beach, Florida area.
Responsibilities
Make all cash account journal entries including loans, taxes, bank fees, 401(k) deductions, etc.
Direct monthly accounting close
Mark budget transfers
Manage Accounts Receivable
Catalog sales tax records and create and file quarterly payments
Proficient in credit card management and reconciliation
Formulate cash flow projections, as needed
Extra unique tasks if required
Arrange monthly reconciliations, financial statements and all supporting documents
Maintain Accounts Payable
Report business license and gross receipts
Get ready subcontractor 1099's, and any other IRS year-end requirement
Requirements
Strong communication and interpersonal skills (verbal, written, and listening)
Top notch analytical, organizational, and vendor management skills
Self-starter, ability to identify issues and resolve problems
Notable accounting experience, including as a Bookkeeper preferredAbility to work in a dynamic and changing environment
Vow to meet business deadlines
Possess strong organizational and follow-up skills
Practical knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR)
Good understanding of Bank Deposit
Month end closings experience highly preferred
Demonstrated knowledge of OSHA
Adeptness in Human Resources (HR) Administration
Comprehensive knowledge of Quickbooks Online
Paychex Payroll experience highly desired
Command of Full Charge Bookkeeping
Experience with Tax - Form 990
Strong familiarity with Monthly Financial Statements
Insurance Policy experience highly valued
Foundational knowledge in Grant Accounting
Hands-on experience with business review documents
Previous experience working with Check Runs
Comprehension of Form 1099
General familiarity with Accounts Payable (AP)
Background working with Annual Budget
Earlier work involving Microsoft Excel
Excellent attention to detail
BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other business-related field preferred
