Description
Qualified candidates should be self-driven and organized accounting professionals capable of thrives under tight deadlines with minimal supervision in this Bookkeeper role. We are on the look out for a talented Full Charge Bookkeeper for our client. The Full Charge Bookkeeper will manage full cycle A/P, payroll, bank reconciliations, journal entries, month-end close, cash flow, financial statement preparation and audit. Your responsibilities
Draw up subcontractor 1099's, and any other IRS year-end requirement
Provide monthly reconciliations, financial statements and all supporting documents
Prepare cash account journal entries including loans, taxes, bank fees, 401(k) deductions, etc.
Condense business license and gross receipts
Direct monthly accounting close
Regulate Accounts Receivable
Accounts Payable
Organize cash flow projections, as needed
Experienced with credit card management and reconciliation
Classify sales tax records and create and file quarterly payments
Other special projects as requested
Requirements
Ability to effectively interact, verbally and in writing
BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other business-related field preferred not required
Strong organizational skills and a proven ability to meet deadlines
Prior accounting experience, including as a Bookkeeper preferredStrong organization skills with a sense of urgency and capable of prioritizing multiple tasks
Observant, accurate and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
2+ years of related experience- Proven analytical skills with ability to implement solutions and vendor management experience with good organizational skillsSelf-starter, ability to identify issues and resolve problems
Work Papers experience desired
Deep understanding of general ledger
Knowledge of bank reconciliations
Ability to prioritize deals and adapt to quick changes while remaining diligent, and to thrive in a dynamic, high pressure environment
