Based in Lynnwood, Washington, the Full Charge Bookkeeper role is a short-term contract / temporary opportunity.
Your responsibilities in this role
Overseeing work of accounting clerks and entry-level bookkeepers
Tracking fixed assets and constructing depreciation schedules
Filing documents to maintain historical records
Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable, including collections
Handling bank and general ledger reconciliations, as well as payroll processing
Preparing the trial balance and financial statements, including balance sheet and statements regarding income and cash flows
Studying and implementing federal, state, and local legal requirements, filing reports, and communicating with management on needed actions
Ensuring accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close Requirements - Possess strong organizational and follow-up skills
Ability to work independently with minimal oversight
A thorough knowledge of accrual and cash basis of accounting
Proficiency with Excel, Quickbooks, and PeachtreeHigh school diploma or equivalent required, and AA degree or higher in Accounting or Business preferred
3+ years of bookkeeping experience
Experience with payroll preferred
Ability to multitask, collaborate and communicate well with individuals of all backgrounds in a fast-paced environment
Comprehensive knowledge of full charge bookkeeping
Microsoft Excel experience
Quickbooks Online experience preferred
Demonstrated flexibility to adapt to changes in procedures and job assignments
Outstanding skills in analyzing financial data and promptly generating accurate reports
